  	Ebbie Evans Burk GLENVILLE -- Ebbie Evans Burk, 98, of Sutton, died at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, at Nicholas County Health Care Nursing Home, Richwood, following a brief illness. She was born Sept. 11, 1902, in Gilmer County, a daughter of the late Hugh and Mary Fincham Evans. Her husband, Lester Doyle Burk, whom she married Sept. 26, 1922, preceded her in death on June 12, 1981. Surviving are three grandchildren, Barbara Jean Burk Behanna, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Robert Scott Burk, Kenashia, Wis., and Jacquelyne Fredrick, Highland, N.Y.; and two great-grandchildren, Jack Fredrick and Ryan Burk. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jack L. Burk on June 10, 1989. Mrs. Burk was a homemaker. She was a member of the Burk United Methodist Church. Friends may call at 1 p.m. Monday at the Ellyson Mortuary, Glenville. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ron McCord officiating. Burial will follow in the Stalnaker Cemetery.
